What does freedom mean to you?

To be you, to be true. To let nothing stop you for what you want in life. To me it’s like Breathing in Fresh Air. An Awakening moment!

Why did you pursue the Women in Freedom Photoshoot?

I wanted to show the new me. Put myself on the spot and let it shine. To take pride in what I do.

Share a bit about your personal story and where you are today. In what ways have you stepped into your freedom recently?

I just recently quit my job as I was unhappy with it. I was drained & working nonstop days on end for months straight. It starting effecting my life, my Family, my friends & even my new relationship. I took a couple of months off to find myself and relax. I had plenty of time to think about life, what I wanted, who I loved, what I needed in a job and what kind of person I can become. I also did a lot of cooking and cleaning, throwing away things, minimized stuff, fixing friendships, working on my relationship & finding a job.

How has this life of freedom had a positive impact on you?

All in all it was like it’s meant to be. Things are finally going my way! It’s about to be a new year with a new me, in a new relationship, at a new place and with a new job! I can’t wait to see what this new life brings.

What was the most meaningful aspect of this photoshoot to you?

To capture the light in my eyes of what I see ahead in my future. To showcase the freedom I have in my life. To let everyone know how happy I am to be the new me.

How do you plan to hold onto this feeling of unique freedom?

Take more time to myself and do the things I like, breath (take in fresh air), spend more time with the ones I love and that mean the most, keep smiling and laughing (and make others do it as well), surround myself with positive people, stay positive and keep working hard for everything I want in life.
